2. Committee Reports:
   
   1. Apprenticeship
      Craig noted that there are only 11 students in the present 3rd year class.  The next 1st year class has 4 on the waiting list.  One more will guarantee an          additional class.  Craig introduced the second instructor.
   2. Golf
      Ryan has tentatively set our GTA tournament in early June at the Sandpiper Golf Club.  Our May meeting will feature a 'What's New' in golf courtesy of Golf Town.
3. Old Business:  No items brought forward.
4. Apprenticeship Awards were presented to the following GTA member employees:

   Dexter Yahnke was also presented with the Don Simpson Award by Blake Simpson of  Beacon Glass.
   
   Rick noted that Michael Carline was also the recipient of the Bill Blakeney Award from SAIT.
    
5.  50/50 Draw:  The lucky winner was Henry!
6. Next Meeting:  February 6, 2012 - Guest Speaker will talk about B.I.M.
